Catapult Design Challenge
Due Date: May 31, 2017
Overview: In this project students were to design a catapult using the least amount of supplies. Then they would test how the mass of object impacts the distance traveled and in addition, the students would compete t see which catapult threw a penny the furthest. This would teach the students the engineering process. They would have to make a poster afterward explaining the process they went through in order to make the catapult.
Skills tested on: The students were tested on the ability to work efficiently in a random group assigned. They were given a certain amount of time to do sections of the challenge. They were tested on their work ethic.
Reflection: I believe that I did fine in this project. My group was never late in handing in the work. We were normally done before the class ended. None of the work except the decoration and final touches of the project was done at home.
