Welcome to my ePortfolio! My name is Jennifer Cortes. I am currently in 8th grade enrolled in the Academic strand at Passaic Gifted and Talented Academy. This ePortfolio is where I keep work for my classes to share with my teachers. The classes that are included are English, Math, Science, Social Studies and strand classes. 

 

Hello, my name is Jennifer Cortes. Like I stated before I am an academic student in Passaic Gifted and Talented Academy. I applied to this school to show what I am capable of doing, improve on what I need to and to learn beyond expected. One of my goals is to become a Financial planner. But in order to reach my dream, I have to work hard, stay determined and never give up, no matter the obstacles that I face. Even though I am shy I like to help out and try new things. I like to try out things that do not necessarily involve my strand. For example, as I stated before I am in the academic strand but I participate in the school band which is formed by performing art student. Something else I take part in is National Junior Honor Society. I started this year and am working towards becoming an official member. This gives me a chance to help out others inside and outside of school. That's all for now. I hope you enjoy and see my improvement throughout the school year.
